Meet my BEAUTIFUL friend Carisa!! Carisa is a very close friend of mine whom I've known forever. We went to high school and college together and recently traveled trough Europe together. She is truly a beautiful person inside and out. I am so thankful to have her in my life and was happy I was able to help her out with some headshots for modeling. Carisa did some modeling back in middle school and is trying to get back into it. I certainly think she has what it takes to be a model...she is so photogenic and made my job easy!!!

We will be putting together a comp card for Carisa and once that is made, I will post it on the blog so everyone can see the final product :)

This first photo is my personal choice for her main headshot. We'll see what Carisa thinks ;)

Engagement Session

Okay, so it has taken me FOREVER to get these photos up. Literally. I have been super busy and unfortunately it has reflected on my blog with a lack of updates! Anyway, here is an engagement session I did a few weeks ago. Jennifer and Dustin are a wonderful couple who will be getting married this February and I am so thankful to have done this Engagement Session with them. Engagement Sessions are really important prior to the wedding to develop the client-photographer relationship and allow the couple to feel comfortable with their photographer.

Jennifer and Dustin drove all the way from Jacksonville the day of this shoot and actually made it right on time! I was so impressed. We had some fun at USF's Botanical Gardens and then headed over to the actual campus for some more shots. They were very fun to work with and I can't wait for the wedding :)

Senior Portrait Session

Meet Kia!!! I met Kia also through my sister...soon I'll have to start paying her for all the business she's getting me haha! After Kia contacted me I found out that her mom actually works with my mom, so we share many connections :)

Anyway, Kia wanted some senior portraits done and I was excited to help her out. We had a nice time in downtown Safety Harbor even though we had to take a quick break due to that unpredictable Florida weather. Kia is so kind and very bright. She will be attending UF for college and I saw her at Senior Award Night and she won MANY awards!! In fact, she is one of the top 10 in her class. Very impressive!!

I think Kia resembles America Ferrera...especially in this first picture. America Ferrera is gorgeous, and so are you Kia :)

Senior Portrait Session

I met Nicole through my sister -- they go to school with one another. Nicole was looking for some fun senior portraits as well as some head shots for modeling. Because she was looking for such variety, we went to several different locations and had different outfit changes; it was a lot of fun! Nicole was very photogenic which made my job very easy :)

Nicole will be moving up to Tallahassee for college which is awesome. I graduated from FSU so Tally holds a very special place in my heart :)

I hope you all enjoy them and Nicole, you look absolutely beautiful!!!

Wedding

A couple weeks ago my photographer friend, Whitney, asked me to photograph a wedding with her. My calendar was free and I wanted to get another wedding under my belt, so why not? I am so glad I said yes! It was a beautiful Greek wedding with a super cute backyard reception.

I met Kia and Mike the day of their wedding so, of course, there wasn't much time to chat, but they are such a loving and goofy couple. Kia is so animated and she was simply a stunning bride.

It really was a perfect day, even down to the unpredicatable Florida weather. Though, Whitney and I found out later, that after we had left it started pouring down rain. The most amazing part is, everyone continued dancing the night away in the rain until 2am!! Even the bride in her beautiful dress! Talk about a carefree couple just enjoying every moment of their special day :)

LOVE this photo. Her hair piece was amazing!

Funny story - I thought this was pineapple juice. Wrong. It was straight vodka.
